I recently invested in a plot at Vishnu KRC Royal Villa Plots in Thaiyur, OMR. The area is experiencing growth, and the price point, starting at 26.39 Lakh for the 1100 Sq.ft plots, seems competitive for a ready-to-move-in property. Vishnu Foundation is the developer behind this project. While the location is developing, the distance to OMR main road is a slight drawback. However, the availability of internal roads and footpaths is a positive sign for future infrastructure. I am looking at the potential for rental income or future capital appreciation in this part of Chennai. The zero brokerage aspect is also attractive for investolike me.

I bought a decent sized plot, around 1100 Sq.ft, and the price was reasonable within my retirement budget. The developer, Vishnu Foundation, seems to have provided basic amenities like 24X7 water supply, which is essential. The area is developing, so I expect some appreciation. It's ready to move in, which means I don't have to wait for construction. The main road access could be a bit better, a slightly narrow lane leads to the project site.
