My main concern is the lack of OC received yet, and I hope S S Construction manages to get it well before the handover. Also, the traffic on the main road can get quite bad during peak hou, which might be difficult for my elderly parents.

We finally decided to buy our own place after renting for yeaRamkrishna Tower in Rajarhat, Hatiara offered us the space we needed. We chose a 2 BHK which is around 650 Sq.ft, much better than our current rental. The prices are a bit higher than we initially planned, with our configuration costing around 22 Lakh, but the EMIs are manageable. The location is great for us as teache, with Calcutta Public School a short distance. We visited the site, and the construction quality looked decent. They have two lifts and two staircases, which is good. The biggest drawback is the dust and noise from the ongoing construction, which is expected. Also, the distance to the metro station at nearby means we'll likely need a vehicle for most trips outside the immediate locality. Still, it feels like a good upgrade.
