I bought this 2 BHK flat in Kamala Lal Kamal for my parents who live in Kolkata. The built-up area is 870 square feet, which is a comfortable size for them. The proximity to B M Birla Heart Hospital is very important for their peace of mind, being only four minutes away. Jatin Das Park Metro Station is also very close, which makes it easy for them to visit us or for friends to come over. The price point of 1.15 crore for a 2 BHK in Alipore seemed reasonable. My only concern is the traffic noise on Bose Para Road during peak hou, but they are adjusting. The Kamala Group has a history of completing projects, which gave me confidence.

The location in Silpara, Alipore is good, and it’s really close to Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, which is convenient for future planning. The metro station is also just two minutes away. The price for the 3 BHK was around 1.59 crore, which felt a bit steep for a property completed in 2011, but the developer Kamala Group has a decent reputation. I am a bit concerned about the lack of readily available OC information, but the agent assured me everything is in order. Overall, it’s a decent start for my real estate journey.
