We were looking for a place to build our home and found Velavan Vanthanam in Kovilpalayam. The proximity to KV Matriculation Higher Secondary School, literally zero minutes away, was a major deciding factor for us. Our kids can walk to school easily. Also, Kumaran Medical Center is a short distance, which is reassuring. We looked at the 1014 Sq.ft plots and they seem like a good size for a family home. The location in New Thillai Nagar is quiet which is nice. The only thing is that the OC is not yet available, which is a bit of a worry. But the price starting from 6.75 Lakh onwards is quite reasonable. We hope Green Home Properties gets the OC soon so we can start building without any issues.

The Oraikalpalayam Cross Bus Stop is a short distance, making commuting easy. It's also very close to KV Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Kumaran Medical Center, which are essential facilities. I checked out the 1360 Sq.ft plots, they are a decent size if I decide to build a small house later. The price starting at 6.75 Lakh is quite affordable for Coimbatore. My main concern is the access road. It's not the widest, and during peak hou, traffic can be a bit slow. Other than that, it feels like a secure and well-connected place.

The bus stop is also right there. The main concern for us is that the area gets quite dusty during construction, which is expected since it's a developing locality.
