We chose Velan Nagar primarily for its excellent proximity to schools. Sri Chaitanya school is literally a 2-minute walk, which has made our mornings so much less chaotic. The gated community setup provides a safe environment for our children to play. We appreciate the 24x7 water supply and the solid waste management system. The internal roads are wide enough for easy movement within the complex. Having MAAYA SPECIALITY HOSPITALS a short distance is also reassuring. The Madhavaram Bus Terminal being close is convenient for longer journeys. The only minor downside we've noticed is that during peak hou, the Madhavaram Red Hills Road can get congested, but it's a trade-off we are willing to make for the school proximity. The 24x7 security adds an extra layer of comfort for us.

Getting to my office on the other side of the city is much faster now. The 24x7 security is a big plus for me as I live alone. I also like that they have solid waste management and disposal systems in place, it feels well-maintained. The internal roads and footpaths are also good quality. My only minor issue is that sometimes during peak hou, the traffic on Madhavaram Red Hills Road can be a bit slow, but it's manageable. Overall, a good find for a single peon needing easy commute and security.
