As I'm relocating to Chennai for work, I needed a place close to my new hospital. Vamanan Nehru Nagar offered plots which allowed us to customize our home. I picked a 2500 Sq.ft plot for a good price, around 14.75 Lakh. The location near Maraimalai Nagar is somewhat accessible, though the Chengalpattu Metro Station is nearby, which is a bit of a commute. The SIVANANDA RAJARAM SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL is also nearby, which is good to know. It's a ready to move project which was a big plus for me given my tight schedule. The main issue is the lack of amenities; it's pretty basic. Also, construction quality on nearby sites suggests potential dust issues during peak seasons.

It was ready to move since January 2013, so we could start planning the construction immediately. One thing is that the OC received details are not available, which was a slight concern, but the builder Vamanan Estates assured us everything is in order. The roads within the plot area are decent, but getting there involves some internal roads which can be dusty.
