We bought a 1894 Sq.ft plot in Upkar Galaxy. The price of 43.56 Lakh was at the higher end of our budget, but the plot size seemed worth it for future plans. We liked that it's a gated community with good amenities like street lighting and landscaping. The idea of building our own home here is exciting. My only concern is the distance to the metro station, Challaghatta Metro is nearly nearby, making daily commuting a challenge without a peonal vehicle. Also, the OC is not yet available, which makes us a little nervous about future loan disbuements. However, the ready-to-move status is appealing. The developer, Upkar Develope, has a track record to consider.

However, the surrounding area still seems to be developing, so there's quite a bit of dust and construction noise during the day. I wish they had mentioned the OC status more clearly. The Vastu compliance is a nice touch.
