After retiring, I was looking for a peaceful place with good amenities, and Unitech The Residences seemed to fit the bill. The manicured gardens and panoramic views from the towewere very appealing. I purchased a 1.5 BHK apartment which is 825 Sq.ft, a comfortable size for one peon. The Vastu compliant design was also important to me. The availability of high-speed internet and Wi-Fi is convenient. While the project was completed in 2009, the maintenance seems to be handled well. My only slight concern is the price point, which felt a bit high at 1.3 Crore for this configuration, but the quality of construction and the strategic location near NH-8 made it justifiable for a comfortable retirement.

We chose Unitech The Residences because of its proximity to Manav Rachna International School, which is just under 2 kilometeaway. The children's play area and the theme park within the complex are great for the kids. We got a 3 BHK which is 1505 Sq.ft, quite spacious for our family. The swimming pool and jogging track are good amenities for us to relax after a busy week. The 24x7 security is also a big plus for peace of mind. The only issue is that traffic on Sohna Road can get a bit heavy during peak hou, making the nearby distance to Rajiv Chowk sometimes longer than expected. However, the overall environment is quite pleasant and green.

The price of 1.5 Crore was manageable with our combined savings and a loan. The gym and club house are good facilities for us to unwind. The natural light and ventilation in the apartment are excellent, making it feel very airy. The location on Sohna Road is convenient for our commute to school. We did notice some dust from ongoing construction in nearby areas, but that’s common in developing Gurgaon. Overall, it feels like a solid investment.
