We were looking to upgrade from our rental apartment and decided on UA Arunachalam. We chose a 2 BHK unit that is 765 square feet. The price was around 30.5 Lakh, which was within our revised budget after seeing the quality. The construction was completed in July 2013, so it's quite an old project, but it's ready to move in. The developer, UA Foundation, seems to have a decent track record. The cycling and jogging track is a good amenity for my kids. However, the traffic on the Chennai Anantpur highway can get quite heavy during peak hou, which is a bit of a hassle.

We looked at several places and UA Arunachalam stood out because of its location in Thirumullaivoyal, close to the railway station, making commutes easier. While the project is ready to move, the surrounding area can be quite dusty during construction phases of nearby developments, which is a minor drawback. Still, we feel it’s a good value.
