After retiring, I wanted to move closer to my grandchildren and chose Barasat. Susil Apartment by A R Infrastructure is under construction and expected to be ready by November 2027. I booked a 2 BHK flat with a carpet area of around 500 Sq.ft. The best part is its location; it's right next to Barasat Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School and Narayana Hospital, making life very convenient. The Eastern Railway line is also nearby. My only slight worry is the carpet area for the 3 BHK flats, which starts at 614 Sq.ft. It feels a little compact for a larger family, but for my needs, the 2 BHK is perfect. The developer seems reliable.

It's also convenient that Narayana Hospital is nearby. The main issue is the access road; it’s right in Barasat but getting to the main NH-34, which is nearby, takes a bit of time through local roads, and sometimes the traffic can be heavy.
