We needed a place with good space for our children, so we opted for the 3 BHK flat at Surya Taran which is 1200 square feet. It's great that Barasat Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School is nearby, making school runs much easier. The project by A Dutta has a children's play area which the kids absolutely love. The gated community aspect provides a sense of security for us. We paid about 45 lakh for our flat. The only drawback is the car parking can be a bit challenging during peak houwhen many residents are returning home. Power backup is a good feature.

The location is quite convenient, especially with easy access to NH-34 and NH-112. The presence of a children's play area is a plus for future family plans. I'm impressed with the 24x7 security and the internal roads being well laid out. My only minor concern is the traffic noise from the nearby highways can be audible at times, especially during the day. Rainwater harvesting is a good initiative by A Dutta.

The location in Barasat, Purba Sinthi is decent, close enough to NH-34 for my commute. I liked that they have 24x7 security and CCTV surveillance, makes me feel safe. The price was reasonable at around 37 lakh. My only small issue is the internal roads are still a bit dusty from ongoing construction nearby. Otherwise, it's a good place for a single peon.
