I was looking for a ready-to-move property and found SP Apartment in North Dum Dum, Kolkata. The pricing for the 2 BHK at around 30.25 Lakh seemed competitive. The built-up area is 1043 sq.ft. The SP Group developed this project. Connectivity is good, with Durganagar railway station only 300 meteaway. However, I noticed that the OC details were not readily available, which is a bit unusual for a project completed in June 2011. This raises some questions about the formal completion status. The amenities like children's play area and lift are standard. I'm still evaluating if this is the best investment given the OC situation.

The price was 33.55 Lakh. The proximity to Durganagar railway station (300m) and Noapara Metro (2.79 kms) is also convenient for exploring the city. The project is ready to move in. While the apartment itself is good, the immediate surroundings can be dusty due to ongoing construction in nearby plots. It's something I'll have to get used to. Overall, it serves my purpose.

However, the road leading to the project isn't the widest, and during heavy rain, waterlogging can be a minor issue, making access slightly difficult sometimes.

What I liked most is the proximity to schools and hospitals. Auxilium Convent School is only nearby, and ILS Hospital is also not too far. The project is ready to move in, and we shifted last month. The 24x7 water supply is working well. My only small worry is that the road to the project can get congested during peak hou, making the commute a bit longer than expected sometimes.
