We bought a 1200 Sq.ft plot at Smart Town in Rajanukunte for about 14 Lakhs. It's a residential plot, so we can build our house as we like. The location is good, close to the New DC office and KIADB. Bangalore Real Estate Company is the developer, and they've included features like a swimming pool and fire sprinkle, which are quite comprehensive. The project is still under construction, with completion targeted for September 2026. The main draw for us was the proximity to the ITIR and Special Economic Zone, offering good future potential. We are also happy about the storm water drains and the STP mentioned in the plan. The price seems competitive for the area and the amenities offered.

We have been renting in Bengaluru for yeaand finally decided to buy our own plot at Smart Town. We chose a 1200 Sq.ft plot for around 14 Lakhs. It's located in Rajanukunte, which is a bit far from the city center but close to Stone Hill International School, where we work. Bangalore Real Estate Company is building this, and they have 24x7 water supply and CCTV surveillance, which are important for us. The main concern is the dust from the construction, which is quite noticeable on the Doddaballapur Main Road. We are hoping the landscaping and tree planting will help reduce this once completed. The expected completion date is September 2026, so we will continue renting for a while.

We are considering the larger plot, which is priced around 27 Lakhs. The developer, Bangalore Real Estate Company, has highlighted several amenities like an amphitheater and a cricket pitch, which are appealing. Its location near Aero Space Park and Gitam Univeity is also a plus for future growth. The project is under construction and slated for completion in September 2026. One point of caution is the traffic on Doddaballapur Main Road, especially during certain times of the day. We need to ensure the internal roads, including the 80ft one, are well-connected.

Also, the access road currently feels a bit congested during peak houdue to ongoing construction and proximity to the main road.
