After retiring, I wanted a peaceful place to settle down. SD Dittnany in Medavakkam offered a good 2 BHK apartment with a built up area of 1000 Sq.ft. It was ready to move, which suited my timeline perfectly. The proximity to Tambaram Road and Velachery is convenient for errands and meeting people. The construction quality looks solid. However, I have noticed that the noise from the main Velachery-Tambaram Road can be heard quite clearly in the apartment, especially during the day. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's something to consider if you are very sensitive to sound. Otherwise, the layout is practical and the neighborhood is developing well.

Just moved to Chennai and needed a place quickly. SD Dittnany was ready to move in which was perfect. I got a 2 BHK apartment here, built up area is 1000 Sq.ft, which feels quite spacious for me. The location in Medavakkam is convenient, close to Velachery and Sholinganallur, making my commute to the new hospital manageable. It's also very close to Velammal New Gen School, which is good to know if I have kids later. The Tambaram Road access is good. My only minor issue is the traffic can get a bit heavy during peak houon the main road. Overall, it's a solid place to start in the city.

It gives us much more room than our previous place. The location in Jayachandra Nagar, Medavakkam is quite accessible to Velachery and Sholinganallur, where we both work. We liked that the project by SD SheltePvt Ltd was ready to move. The area around the building does get dusty sometimes, especially with ongoing development nearby, but it's manageable. The apartment itself is well laid out with good ventilation. We feel it’s a good step up for us.

I was looking for a decent 1 BHK or 2 BHK in Medavakkam and found SD Dittnany. The 1000 Sq.ft size for the 2 BHK is comfortable for one peon. It's ready to move so I didn't have to wait. Being close to the Airport Metro Station is a huge plus for me as I travel often. Jayachandra Nagar itself is a decent locality. My only real concern is the parking situation; it feels a bit cramped if you have a larger vehicle. Otherwise, the apartment is well-designed and gets good natural light. I'm happy with the purchase for my own use.

The fact that it was ready to move in July 2006 meant they could settle in without much delay. Medavakkam is a growing area and has decent connectivity to Velachery. One thing I wish they had mentioned earlier was the lack of covered parking, which might be an issue during the heavy Chennai rains. But my parents are happy with the space and the locality, which is most important.
