We are moving to Kolkata for my new hospital posting and this seemed like a good option in New Alipore. The proximity to BM Birla Heart Hospital is incredible, just a few minutes walk. My husband also liked that D. A. V. Public School is also very close by for our daughter. The apartment itself is a 3 BHK with 1850 square feet built up area, which feels quite spacious for us. We are hoping the 24x7 water supply will be reliable. The price point of 2.89 Crore onwards is a bit high, but the location convenience is a major factor for us. We are looking forward to settling in.

I bought a 3 BHK here as an investment. The area in New Alipore, Block F, has potential for appreciation. Orbit Group has a decent track record. The price of 2.89 Crore is substantial, but the built-up area of 1850 square feet is quite large for this market. It is ready to move in, which is good for immediate rental income. The nearby connectivity to Diamond Harbour Road and B. L. Saha road is a plus. I'm slightly concerned about the OC not being available yet, but that should be sorted out before March 2025 completion. The project is ready to move, and completion is slated for March 2025. Being close to Taratala Metro Station offegood connectivity. The developer, Orbit Group, has included standard amenities like 24x7 security and water supply. My main concern is the lack of readily available OC information, which could impact future resale value or loan eligibility. Also, the immediate vicinity has some dust from ongoing development nearby. However, the built-up area is generous.
