    I purchased a residential plot at Mantra Mappedu in Mappedu, Tiruvanchery from abroad for my parents. The key factor was that it is ready to move, so they could start living there without much delay after construction. I chose a 900 Sq.ft plot costing about 48 Lakhs, which is a manageable size for them. The location in Chennai is accessible and it is close to essential services. Mantra Projects seems to have a decent reputation. One concern I have is the lack of detailed information regarding amenities provided by the developer. I would have preferred more clarity on things like water supply and drainage infrastructure. My parents are happy with the space though.
