We finally got a 2 BHK flat for my parents in Ashiana Shubham Phase III I. They are relocating from another city and wanted something comfortable. The location in Maraimalai Nagar, Sengundram is quite peaceful. It is close to Deepam Hospitals and Vanavil Medical Centre which is important for us. The built-up area for the 2 BHK is around 1156 to 1298 square feet, which seems spacious enough for them. They liked the idea of the reading lounge and the grocery shop within the complex. The price was around 45 Lakhs, which felt reasonable for Chennai. The only thing is it’s a bit far from the main city but they don’t travel much now. Ashiana Housing Ltd. Seems to have good amenities for a relaxed living.

After retiring, I wanted a quiet place near Chennai. Ashiana Shubham Phase III I in Sengundram seemed like a good option. I bought a 3 BHK which has a built-up area of approximately 1500 square feet. The price was around 65 Lakhs, which is on the higher side but acceptable given the amenities. I particularly liked the tennis court and the amphitheater. The availability of a grocery shop within the complex is very convenient for daily needs. It is also good that there are two hospitals very close by. The only downside is the traffic noise can be a bit much during peak houas it’s near the main road. But overall, it’s a comfortable place for senior living.
