I picked up a 1969 sq.ft. 3 BHK unit in Appaswamy Skylon. The price range of 3.05 Crore to 4.51 Crore seemed reasonable for this area in Chennai West. Appaswamy Real Estate has a decent track record, which is important for an investment property. The completion date is December 2027, giving them enough time. I'm hoping the rental demand in Koyambedu will be strong once it's ready. The smart home automation feature is a nice touch for potential tenants. My main concern is the ongoing construction noise and dust, but that's expected at this stage. The floor-to-ceiling glass offering expansive city views is a big selling point.

Relocating to Chennai for work at MGM Healthcare made finding a convenient place a priority. Appaswamy Skylon's location in Koyambedu, just close to the metro station, is excellent. I booked a 3 BHK, which is 2201 sq.ft., offering ample space. The building itself is a 17-floor high-rise with impressive city views through floor-to-ceiling glass. Appaswamy Real Estate included features like a gymnasium and tennis court, which are great for staying active. The double basement parking is also a significant plus. I did notice the traffic around Koyambedu can be heavy, especially during peak hou, but the proximity to essential services outweighs this.

We were looking for a larger home and decided on a 4 BHK apartment at Appaswamy Skylon. The sizes range up to 2887 sq.ft., which gives us plenty of space for our growing family. Being close to Bharathi Vidhya Mandir School is a huge advantage for us. The developer, Appaswamy Real Estate, seems to be building a solid structure, and the Vastu compliance was a plus. We really liked the idea of the club house and the swimming pool for weekend relaxation. The price point is a bit higher than we initially planned, around 4.51 Crore for the larger units, but the value seems there. We are currently in a rental, so having our own spacious place in Koyambedu feels great.

The location is quite convenient, being close to Koyambedu Metro and Bus Stand, making commutes easy. Appaswamy Real Estate also has features like a skating rink and mini theatre, which sound fun for evenings. The price for our unit was about 3.05 Crore. The construction is still underway, with completion expected in December 2027. The only slight drawback is that the surrounding area can get quite busy with the market nearby.

The Vastu compliant design was important to me. I chose a 3 BHK apartment, 2050 sq.ft., a comfortable size. The developer, Appaswamy Real Estate, mentioned water conservation and rainwater harvesting, which is good to see. The price was in the 3.5 Crore range. While the building looks impressive, I am a bit concerned about the maintenance costs in the long run for such a large project with so many amenities like a cricket pitch and tennis court. The completion date is December 2027.
