The Maharashtra government has approved 285 new police positions for Navi Mumbai International Airport security operations, with ₹11 crore allocated for implementation under the Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner's jurisdiction.

Navi Mumbai International Airport will commence both domestic and international operations in October 2025, starting with 60 daily flights and scaling to 300 within six months, featuring digital-first passenger services.

Amazon will lease over 1.1 million sq ft of office space from Sattva Group in North Bengaluru, expanding its operations there. Amazon will occupy the 11-story office tower in Sattva Horizon business park near the international airport, which will house roughly 7,000 people.
