Adani Properties secures major MHADA redevelopment bids across Mumbai including Worli and Bandra, marking a shift in large-scale urban infrastructure projects.

MHADA CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal announced that 800 to 1,000 acres of land in Mumbai have been opened for cluster redevelopment over the past year, signalling a major increase in potential housing stock. The initiatives target enhanced affordability through policy rationalisation.

Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, said the Dharavi rehabilitation project is more than urban regeneration; it will change the lives of nearly one million people in one of the world's greatest slums. Adani said at Mumbai's Jai Hind College that the project would restore Dharavi's dignity.
