Kanakia Spaces entered two distinct agreements to undertake the redevelopment of large housing societies in Borivali, a prominent suburb in Mumbai.

The House of Hiranandani has signed agreements to redevelop five housing societies in Mumbai's Chembur suburb, a significant step towards urban renewal. These redevelopment projects, which encompass approximately 15 acres, offer a development potential of over 1.7 million square feet.

The government wants to develop 2 lakh homes in Mumbai and Pune within three years, transforming the housing markets. This ambitious plan seeks to eliminate Mumbai slums, increase MHADA lottery possibilities, and revive SRA projects.

As the first Times Redevelopment Awards 2024 honoured Mumbai's future leaders, the skyline shone with innovation. Though complicated, BMC Commissioner Dr. Bhushan Gagrani called redevelopment the ultimate answer to Mumbai's land problem, calling it innovation rather than repetition.

All essential permissions will be given within three months using a single-window certification system, and these projects will be completed by self-regulation procedures.
