Maharashtra has approved additional FSI incentives for redevelopment of aging chawls and buildings on Mumbai's historic mill lands, aiming to unlock hundreds of stalled projects across Parel, Lower Parel, and Girangaon through amendments to DCPR 2034.

Maharashtra has proposed key amendments to DCPR 2034 regulations, extending fungible FSI benefits and revising calculation methods to make MHADA redevelopment projects across Greater Mumbai more financially viable for developers and beneficial for tenants.
