As Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) prepare to play their fourth Indian Premier League (IPL) final, Virat Kohli stands on the brink of ending a long-standing drought — winning the elusive IPL trophy. Despite being one of the league’s most iconic players since its inaugural season, Kohli’s journey with RCB has so far lacked silverware. However, as he gets ready for the big final, attention has turned not only to his cricketing legacy but also to his stunning real estate portfolio.

Sea-Facing Opulence in Mumbai

Back in 2016, Kohli reportedly purchased a luxurious apartment on the 35th floor of Omkar 1973 Towers in Worli, Mumbai. The residence, valued at around Rs 34 crore, covers approximately 7,171 sq ft and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Located in one of Mumbai’s most upscale addresses, the tower is known for its high-end facilities and premium lifestyle offerings.

Palatial Bungalow in Gurugram

Another jewel in Kohli’s real estate crown is a grand bungalow in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram. As per media reports, the property is estimated to be worth Rs 80 crore. Spread over 10,000 sq ft, the home is equipped with luxurious amenities, including a private swimming pool and a cutting-edge gym — a perfect retreat in the NCR’s elite neighbourhood.

Vacation Retreat in Alibaug

In 2022, the cricket star reportedly added a plush holiday home in Awas Village, Alibaug, to his property list. He is said to have bought an 8-acre land parcel for Rs 19.24 crore and invested an additional Rs 10 to Rs 13 crore in construction and interiors. The finished villa, estimated at around Rs 32 crore, includes 10,000 sq ft of living space, a large garden, a pool, a jacuzzi, and other luxurious features — offering a tranquil escape from urban chaos.

Commercial Ventures in Gurugram

Alongside his residential purchases, Kohli has also ventured into commercial real estate. In 2024, he reportedly leased out 12 office spaces in Reach Comercia, a corporate tower in Sector 68, Gurugram. These office units, leased to Mynd Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, span over 18,430 sq ft and come with 37 dedicated parking spots. The lease agreement is said to be for nine years at a monthly rent of Rs 8.85 lakh.

A Trophy to Match the Portfolio?

As Kohli’s real estate footprint grows across India, fans and analysts alike await to see if his IPL career will finally be adorned with a championship win — completing a legacy both on and off the field.
