Goregaon – both east and west, has been blossoming and evolving as the location of choice for thousands of Mumbaikars. Further developments on the Harbour-Western railways front

The new line (Goregaon to CMST) is expected to be further extended to Borivali at an approximate budget of INR 850 Cr plus.

Currenty around Forty Two train services ply from CSMT to Goregaon and the train stops at the Jogeshwari, Ram Mandir and Goregaon platforms. Commuters travelling to harbor lines from the western corridor will find this new arrangement a life changing one and have welcomed this move from the railways.

Happy to be in Goregaon

Yes. Apart from the railways’ development, it is a good time to be in Goregaon as there have been some other major infrastructure developments here that have made and are going to make huge positive impacts on people’s lives.

1. The Mrinal Tai Gore flyover that starts from Goregaon west / Ram Mandir SV road and goes across to the Western express Highway on the east side came around a couple of years back into existence and changed a lot of travelling lives for good. Now it is going to be extended up to the Link Road in Goregaon west, post the approval from Mumbai city’s civic body, the BMC  (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). 2.  The MTNL flyover, which currently connects the link road from the Goregaon-Malad border (near Inorbit), also referred to as the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road to the Western express Highway, Goregaon East near the Oberoi Mall location is getting a connectivity boost to de-congest the same. It is a bit of a tough time currently but surely this development will also improve and ease the traffic flow in this action packed area.

Major commercial pockets in Goregaon that house some of the biggest corporate companies, mid-sized companies as well as SMEs have seen the average occupancy go up as well as a positive spike in the rental prices.
