This is a real gift for the real estate market of Navi Mumbai by CIDCO. On the auspicious day of Gudi Padwa, April 2, 2022, the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) unveiled a gigantic plan offering plots and commercial space in Navi Mumbai. Tenements in different housing projects for MIG and HIG, commercial stores, and plots for residential, commercial, and social uses will be made available for sale via e-auction and e-tender procedures across Navi Mumbai's numerous nodes.

The planning agency would make plots and stores available in Navi Mumbai's Kharghar, Ghansoli, Kalamboli, Taloja, and Dronagiri nodes.

"Commercial storefronts are accessible in key locations across Navi Mumbai, providing a perfect chance for entrepreneurs to establish and develop their enterprises," a CIDCO official said.

Similarly, huge residential and commercial plots will enable developers to construct their projects, while tiny residential plots would enable ordinary residents to build their own houses. The sale of different plots and stores will take place through simple and transparent electronic tendering and electronic auction procedures.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of CIDCO, stated that in addition to commercial shops and plots for housing for residential and commercial purposes, CIDCO has made plots available for social purposes such as hospitals, old age homes, art and cultural centres, special schools, veterinary clinics, orphanages, and student hostels in Navi Mumbai.

This move by CIDCO will surely give a big impetus to Navi Mumbai real estate in the shorter as well as the longer period.
