Brigade Group and PVP Ventures to Develop Residential Tower in Perambur, Chennai

Strategic Expansion in Chennai

In a bold venture, Brigade Group has partnered with PVP Ventures to embark on a high-rise residential project in Perambur, Chennai. Spanning over 16 acres, this project envisions the development of 2.5 million square feet of premium living space. With a potential revenue of approximately Rs 2000 crores, this initiative marks a significant milestone in Brigade's growth trajectory.

Furthermore, Brigade's venture into the hospitality sector is equally impressive, with a 45-year lease agreement to construct a 250-room resort along the picturesque East Coast Road (ECR). Collaborations with leading hoteliers are underway to ensure the resort's operations embody the pinnacle of luxury and service.

A Focused Growth Plan

Pavitra Shankar, MD of Brigade Enterprises, emphasized the company's concentrated efforts on key markets, including Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The expansion in Chennai is particularly noteworthy, driven by the region's dynamic growth in IT/ITeS, BFSI, manufacturing, automotive, and GCC sectors. With over 12 million square feet of residential projects planned, Chennai is poised to become Brigade's second-largest market after Bengaluru.

Nirupa Shankar, joint MD of Brigade Enterprises, highlighted the group's vision to redefine hospitality through the addition of the ECR resort. This venture aims to cater to the sophisticated needs of modern travelers by offering a blend of luxury, comfort, and unmatched service. The resort, representing Brigade's first foray into the resort category, is expected to significantly bolster the group's portfolio and contribute to the hospitality sector's growth in Chennai.
