India's ambitious Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail project has witnessed significant construction achievements with the successful completion of crucial bridge infrastructure across Gujarat state, according to recent development reports.

Afcons Infrastructure, the Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2 construction contractor, completed the Sabarmati River Bridge near Gandhinagar. At 962 metres, this Phase 2 Package C1 bridge connects the Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) to GIFT City.
