Singapore-headquartered CapitaLand Investment Management announced its decision to invest ₹19,200 crore in commercial real estate projects across Mumbai and Pune, following a strategic agreement with the Maharashtra government targeting completion by 2030.

Prestige Estates Projects' subsidiary Prestige Exora Business Parks purchased its partner's land parcel and development rights in Pune's desirable Kharadi neighbourhood. Land of about 4.5 acres was acquired for approximately ₹200 crore.

Horizon Industrial Parks in Chakan, Pune, funded by the Blackstone Group, has leased 410,000 square feet of custom-built manufacturing space to automotive businesses including Germany's Benteler Automotive and the Lumax-DK Jain Group's Lumax Auto Technologies.

Hadapsar is appealing to real estate investors because of its proximity to a variety of large businesses, industrial hubs, and technical parks, as well as its rich historical legacy.
