NHAI has achieved two Guinness World Records during the construction of the Bengaluru-Vijayawada Expressway in Andhra Pradesh, laying 28.95 lane km and 10,675 metric tonnes of bituminous concrete in just 24 hours.

The NHAI has approved a strategic 14-kilometre link road from Morbe to Kalamboli via Taloja, set to connect the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway directly with JNPA, Atal Setu, and the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport—bypassing the delayed Virar-Alibaug corridor.
