Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and 7 have implemented a temporary service schedule from October 12-18 to facilitate critical integration work with the upcoming Line 9 Phase-I corridor, with first trains starting around 7:00 a.m. instead of the usual 5:25 a.m.

Navi Mumbai International Airport has secured DGCA aerodrome licence and will be inaugurated on October 8, 2025, with commercial operations expected by mid-November after completing mandatory operational readiness trials.
