MRLDA secures its highest-ever bid of ₹2,251 crore for a 2.6-acre prime land parcel near Mahalaxmi station in Mumbai through Indian Railways' transit-oriented development programme.

The Union Cabinet has approved four strategic railway multitracking projects worth ₹24,634 crore across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh, adding 894 route kilometers and 78 million tonnes of annual freight capacity to India's rail network over the next 3-5 years.
