Godrej Properties has secured a significant 20-acre land parcel in East Bengaluru, slated for a premium residential development projecting revenues of ₹1,350 crore. This follows a recent strategic acquisition in Coimbatore, signaling aggressive portfolio expansion across key South Indian markets.

Godrej Properties has entered the Coimbatore real estate sector via the outright purchase of 44 acres, targeting approximately INR 450 crore in revenue from a premium plotted residential layout. This move signals strategic expansion into high-potential South Indian urban centres.

From January 2022 to October 2023, Indian real estate developers bought 3,294 acres of property, 44.4% of which was in Tier 2 and 3 cities.
