Maharashtra's educational landscape is about to undergo a historic transformation. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that five prestigious international universities - three top-50 ranked U.S. institutions plus one each from the U.K. and Australia will establish campuses in Navi Mumbai.

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has reduced plot contract violation fines. MHADA's six-month amnesty policy includes this decrease. Under certain scenarios, the programme reduces offenders' penalty costs.
