MMRDA has announced that two six-lane elevated corridors connecting Atal Setu to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Navi Mumbai International Airport will be operational by December 2027, promising to slash South Mumbai-Pune travel time by up to 90 minutes.

The Rs 1,100 crore elevated corridor linking MTHL and Mumbai-Pune Expressway will be completed by Feb 2027. Developed by MMRDA, it includes two six-lane corridors to ease congestion on NH-348 & NH-48, improving connectivity and boosting economic growth in the region.
