Logistics Infra Behemoth NDR Group Plans To Invest INR 2 billion in Logistics Infrastructure

Logistics infra giant NDR Storage has planned to spend over INR 2,000 crore to create warehousing and industrial parks over an area of 20 million square feet in Pune and NCR region.

Executive director at NDR Group, Krishnan S. Iyer, told that firm, supported by global investment management Investcorp, is also looking at inorganic expansion possibilities and collaborative partnerships to extend its portfolio.

This investment will assist to extend presence in the targeted locations and will be leveraging cash to develop inorganically by purchasing land as well as warehouses. The business is already in now talks with several partners to buy both land for greenfield development and operating warehouses and is looking forward to achieving revenue growth around INR 250-260 crore in FY23 and emerge as the second biggest warehousing operator in the nation.

The company is poised to grow at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19-20 percent in the backdrop of the growth opportunities in warehousing space across the country and is also planning to raise USD 200 million, or around INR 1,580 crore, through private or public markets to support its growth plans.
