Real estate giant DLF has set an ambitious sales target of ₹20,000-22,000 crore for the financial year 2025-26, building on the momentum of record pre-sales achieved in the previous fiscal, according to a company announcement on May 20.

Record Sales Momentum in 2024-25

DLF reported pre-sales bookings worth ₹21,223 crore in 2024-25, marking a 44% rise from ₹14,778 crore in the prior year. The company’s Managing Director, Ashok Kumar Tyagi, expressed the intent to sustain this strong sales momentum and reiterated the sales guidance of ₹20,000-22,200 crore for the current fiscal.

Focus on Cash Flow and Profit Margins

Tyagi highlighted that DLF would continue to emphasize generating free cash flow and enhancing profit margins as key priorities to support the growth trajectory.

Upcoming Project Launches and Existing Inventory

To meet its sales target, DLF plans to capitalize on inventories from projects launched in 2024-25 and intends to introduce new housing projects in Gurugram and Mumbai, as disclosed by Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director of DLF Home Developers.

The Dahlias: A Flagship Luxury Development

During 2024-25, DLF launched the ultra-luxury residential project, The Dahlias, featuring 4.5 million sq ft of saleable area with a sales potential estimated at ₹35,000 crore. The company has already booked sales worth ₹13,744 crore in this project in the last fiscal.

Financial Performance and Market Standing

DLF, the largest real estate firm in India by market capitalization, reported a net profit increase to ₹4,366.82 crore in 2024-25 from ₹2,723.53 crore the previous year. Total income rose to ₹8,995.89 crore from ₹6,958.34 crore over the same period.

Extensive Development Footprint

Since inception, DLF has developed more than 185 projects spanning over 352 million sq ft. The group currently has development potential of 280 million sq ft across residential and commercial segments, including ongoing projects and a robust pipeline. It also manages an annuity portfolio exceeding 45 million sq ft.

Business Segments

DLF primarily operates in two segments: the Development Business focusing on residential property development and sales, and the Annuity Business centered on leasing commercial and retail spaces.
