Bollywood legend & megastar Amitabh Bachchan has transferred ownership of Prateeksha, his esteemed bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai, to his daughter, Shweta Nanda.

This development came to light through property documents that Zapkey had access to.

Prateeksha is situated on two plots in Juhu, Mumbai, which together measure a considerable 890.47 sq m and 674 sq m. The process of gifting the property was formalized on November 8, 2023, with a Gift Deed being executed for the transaction.

The documents pertaining to the gift deed revealed that a stamp duty of Rs 50.65 lakh was paid for this significant transfer.

Both plots, forming the location of the bungalow, are within the premises of the Vithal Nagar Cooperative Housing Society Ltd, as indicated by the document.

The document also highlighted that the donors of this property are Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, with Shweta Nanda being the recipient of this substantial gift.
