Vardhman Amrante to Launch Landmark Urban Project in Ludhiana’s South City

Vardhman Amrante, the real estate arm of the Oswal Group, has announced the acquisition of a prime 7-acre land parcel on Ludhiana’s main Canal Road in the upscale South City region. The group shared that the upcoming development will be a large-format mixed-use project comprising high-end commercial spaces, a hospitality offering, food & beverage hubs, a multiplex, and what is expected to become the city’s largest entertainment centre.

A Vision for Urban Transformation

Adish Oswal, Chairman of the Oswal Group and a third-generation entrepreneur, conveyed that the project is envisioned as more than just a real estate undertaking. He noted that South City’s Canal Road corridor holds significant potential and reiterated the Group’s commitment to shaping it into a vibrant urban landmark. According to him, the new development aims to balance global aspirations with the cultural and lifestyle values of Punjab.

Why South City Canal Road?

The selected site is located in South City, a premium neighbourhood in Ludhiana, known for its scenic proximity to the Sidhwan Canal. The area is appreciated for its robust infrastructure, safety, and livability. It already features premium residential townships, reputed educational institutions, top-tier healthcare, and a thriving retail and entertainment ecosystem—making it ideal for such a large-scale development.

Backed by a legacy of over 75 years in textiles and real estate, the Oswal Group has played a notable role in Ludhiana’s urban evolution. The Group has delivered over 12 lakh square feet of developed space across four landmark projects.
