Omaxe Chowk has introduced first-of-its-kind co-retail spaces in its Chandni Chowk multi-level parking cum commercial building. Soon, the project will undergo fit-out.

Co-retailing brings operational and economic efficiency to enterprises by decreasing costs or increasing income. Omaxe Chowk provides two co-retail concepts, including shared commercial space and short-term leases. A shared area between two mutually connected product categories (shoes & bag, apparel & perfume, etc.) and 1-6 month leasing agreements have attracted widespread attention among merchants. The project will provide between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet for co-retailing.

Director of Omaxe Jatin Goel said, "Co-retailing is an emerging idea in the retail industry. Such flexible leasing arrangements will allow enterprises to explore new markets or offer a particular product in a new region. This is also excellent news for firms who were previously only accessible online and are now planning to embrace an omnichannel retailing strategy and expand into physical locations.

The economic potential of running a co-retail space at Omaxe Chowk may be determined by the fact that it is one of the biggest organised commercial projects in Chandni Chowk, the oldest market in Delhi, with multilevel parking facilities.

Every day, crores of rupees are traded at Chandni Chowk for wedding dresses and accessories, jewellery, spices, electrical, electronic, and book products from all over India. Businesses from Surat, Varanasi, Jaipur, and Kolkata, among others, as well as well-known brands have shown interest in co-retail spaces at Omaxe Chowk as a means to grow their operations, generate new clients, or be a part of the bustling business and trade circuit.

With its pollution-free, centrally air-conditioned, safe, secure, and clean atmosphere, Omaxe Chowk will further improve the co-retailing experience. Over 40 million customers from all economic brackets are anticipated to visit Omaxe Chowk.

The route between Red Fort and Fatehpuri Masjid has been designated as a no-vehicle zone as part of the government's Chandni Chowk reconstruction project. Omaxe Chowk will offer parking for about 2200 vehicles. In addition, the Old Delhi Railway Station and the famed shops and tourist attractions of Chandni Chowk are a 5-minute walk away. Also envisioned is a direct entrance from the Chandni Chowk metro station.
