Godrej Properties, based in Mumbai, has extended its residential portfolio in the National Capital Region by entering Sonipat

Godrej Properties has acquired close to 50 acres of property in Sonipat, Haryana. This development will include roughly 1 million square feet of planned residential space, with appealing plot sizes and great lifestyle features. The property is advantageously positioned near the Delhi border and major roads. Additionally, the property is adjacent to Sonipat's emerging educational and industrial centre, which has a well-developed social infrastructure. Sonipat real estate market will definitely benefit in a big way by virtue of Godrej properties coming in.

"The project fits well with our objective of expanding our footprint throughout the country's premier real estate markets," stated Mohit Malhotra, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties. He also added Sonipat property as a micromarket has undergone significant infrastructural development in the past few of years and will play a critical part in the growth narrative of the real estate NCR market.
