The treat of larceny or unwanted people entry often keeps many people stay awake in night. The concern about the home and its security is not limited to just Tier I places and cities or the moneyed people living in their castles. The chances of a break-in exist whether you live in a gated place or a well- rise or a builder floor.

The founder of Zicom Electronic Security System Ltd PramoudRao adds that the mainly of the Indians populace still remain ignorant about the importance of home security technology. While the oracle asserts that home security systems must be treated as a necessary prolonged-term funding, it remains a valid point that the important part of public cannot afford the latest expensive technology. Should they then be ready for a robbery at their respective home?

There are some alternative options to amplify the security of your residency. While these cannot replace the modern and expensive technology or security systems and codes, they will help you feel more secure and slightly reduce the chances of raider choosing you’re your home to attack.

*Always change the locks on windows and doors if possible when you move to a new house and a new locality. Whether it is an brand new house or an old residency there are chances that someone other than you may have the house key. Not changing the locks is the same as leaving your door unlocked and welcoming the thief yourself.

*never leave your place without always double checking that all the doors and windows are closed and locked. This even necessary if the house is going to remain unattended for a long spam. While you may be on very friendly matters with your neighbors and others, it is still not prudent to be careless about your home’s security and expect them to act as your security members.

*Certify that all the windows and doors are locked and bearable to with stand some amount of happenings. If it is an old house, the smartest way would be upgrade your door and get something solid-proof. Iron bars and grilled sliding windows work the best and it makes and impossible task for thieves to enter the house. Sliding windows and doors can be made safer by placing a strong rod through the handles or at the base to make it harder to get in.

*Make sure you remove the spare keys lying outside the house [under the mat, down the flower pot] it is a common practice of people to leave the duplicate keys near the house in case if they lost it. While they can come in quite handy, it also make a lot of easier for the robbers to enter like this and rob an they know that frames, statue, door-mats and flower pots are the common place for a spare  key.

*If you can’t afford a top-notch alarm system or CCTV surveillance systems, fake it. Get a cheap dummy model that looks real and install it were it is easily visible. Since the miscreants look for easy marks an anything which them insecure can safe your house.

*Specialist says to check how easy it is to enter any residency through back doors, garage doors, and windows in bathrooms, basements or guest rooms. If you have an automatic garage doors, disable them when you go on a trip. Thieves will look for the easiest entry points. Look out for them and make them more secure and safe.

*Asses the surroundings of your residency to see if you are offering any hiding spots to criminal. Dense shrubbery near the windows and doors it is easier for the ill-intentioned people to hide an attack when the right come and gain access to the house.

*Avoid announcing your vacation plans beforehand on social media. You never know who is checking up your activates and make us of your absence as an advantage.

*If you are going on a trip or an extended one, suspend all your home deliveries such as groceries, newspapers and other subscriptions to avoid alerting potential miscreants of your absence. You may even ask a help from your neighbors to collect any deliveries from your doorstep.
