Casagrand to Develop 20 Million Sq Ft of Real Estate in Mumbai and Pune Spending Close to INR 8000 Cr

Over the next three years, the Chennai-based real estate developer Casagrand intends to invest Rs 8,000 crore by constructing 20 million square feet (msf) of luxury and affordable housing in Mumbai and Pune.

Casagrand's founder and managing director, Arun Mn, intends to aggressively expand the company's presence in new markets, particularly Maharashtra and said the following:

"We began with modest means in 2004, and today we are one of the top three builders in South India. Within the next five years, we hope to be among the top five real estate deveopers in India.

We have delivered 123 projects on time thus far. In the previous fiscal year, we generated revenues of Rs 4,200 crore; for the current fiscal year, we aspire to generate revenues of Rs 7,200 crore."
