As per real estate sources in Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan, one of the most revered actors globally and a titan of the Indian film industry, has recently leased out four commercial units in Mumbai's Oshiwara district.

The combined space, approximately 10,000 square feet, has been rented to Warner Music India Limited for an annual sum of Rs 2.07 crore, along with a security deposit of Rs 1.03 crore.

The deal, set for a duration of five years, will see an increase in the annual rent to Rs 2.38 crore starting from the fourth year, as per the documents sourced from Propstack.com.

In a strategic move, Bachchan had acquired these four office spaces in Oshiwara in August 2023, each at a cost of Rs 7.18 crore. The lease agreement includes a three-year lock-in period and comes with 12 parking slots. The stamp duty for this transaction amounted to Rs 2.88 lakh, paid on November 30, 2023.

The lease is scheduled to commence in March 2024.
