India's construction sector is witnessing a paradigm shift as warehousing evolves from basic storage to a strategic asset, driven by rising costs, sustainability demands, and complex supply chains that are reshaping how projects are planned and executed.

Tata Toyo Radiator, a joint venture comprising Tata AutoComp Systems, T RAD Co, and Mitsubishi, leased a 250,000-square-foot facility in Khed, Pune. The 10-year lease expands the company's supply chain infrastructure.

Mahindra Logistics opened a 6.5 lakh-square-foot Grade-A warehouse in Bhiwandi, near Mumbai. This facility has 84 docks, a 13-meter clear height, and an 8 MT/M2 load capacity.
