Study reveals Mumbai's housing crisis as top 5% earners need 109 years to save for average home, making it India's least affordable housing market among 21 capitals.

Despite an 8% drop in housing sales across India’s top 15 tier-2 cities in Q1 2025, the total property value rose by 6% to ₹40,443 crore. Cities like Lucknow and Coimbatore led growth, while Visakhapatnam saw the sharpest decline.
