Private equity investments in India's real estate sector reached $3.9 billion in the first nine months of 2025, with office and data centre assets attracting the largest share of institutional capital.

Global private equity firm Blackstone has leased 4.5 lakh sq. ft. at Prestige Lakeshore Drive, Bellandur, marking a major expansion in India's tech capital with plans to house 300+ professionals.

The Blackstone Group is close to buying Adani Realty's Inspire BKC, a high-profile commercial real estate project on Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) fringes. The 800,000-square-foot office skyscraper is expected to cost the US private equity behemoth between Rs 1,800 crore and Rs 2,000 crore.

The State Bank of India has committed Rs 714 crore to TCG Urban Infrastructure, a New York-based company, for the development of a World Trade Center in Gurugram. This project promises to offer one million square feet of leasable space.

Table Space, a flexible office provider, received USD 300 million from Hill House Capital to grow.
