India's pension funds are reportedly gaining expanded access to REITs and AIFs, a landmark policy shift expected to channel billions into real estate and infrastructure while delivering stable yields for retirement portfolios.

Pepperfry has raised ₹43.3 crore from existing investors including GE Pension Trust, Norwest Venture Partners, and Panthera Growth. The funds were secured through a CCPS private placement, reinforcing investor confidence in the furniture startup’s growth.
