Maharashtra has officially approved 54.58 hectares of government land in Igatpuri, Nashik, for developing the state's second Film City. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar announced the decision to transfer the Mundegaon village land to the Cultural Affairs Department.

Maharashtra government invites real estate developers to develop 13,000 acres of MSRTC-owned land across prime locations including Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, and Nagpur under a Build-Operate-Transfer model with 98-year leases, aimed at generating revenue and modernizing public transport infrastructure.

Maharashtra has approved the transfer of 2.1 lakh sq. m of land to Maha Metro on an ownership basis, enabling commercial development in Pune, Nagpur, and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
