Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has announced Mumbai's largest urban transformation initiative, with MHADA leading cluster redevelopment projects across 56 critical layouts to provide dignified housing for thousands while integrating green building standards and modern infrastructure.

Dharavi is set for a massive transformation with ₹95,790 crore earmarked for redevelopment, including 50,000 housing units, a green spine, central park, artisan hubs, and enhanced connectivity to BKC, Sion, and Mahim.

In a pivotal collaboration, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Sunteck Realty are innovating the landscape of sustainable green urban housing in Maharashtra, with a robust investment of up to Rs 7500 million.
