India's retail REIT sector is projected to become a ₹60,000-80,000 crore market by 2030, representing up to 40% of the country's total REIT market, according to new research from Anarock.

Over the previous six years, unsold flat stock in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has dropped 14%. On Thursday, ANAROCK Research said that unsold apartments fell from 2.23 lakh in the first quarter of 2018 to 1.93 lakh by March 2024.

The overall value of housing inventory sold in 2023 would reach Rs 4.5 lakh crore, up 38% from 2022's Rs 3.27 lakh crore. Anarock Group research shows strong housing market expansion.

According to an Anarock research, premium office space rental prices in seven major cities rose 7% year-over-year to Rs 83 per square foot per month in the first six months of the current fiscal. This is due to growing building prices.
